travel north america united states colorado mesa verde national park

As an architect, Mesa Verde National Park is one of my favorite places to visit because of its nature-influenced reidential architecture .
As a student of history, I had a fascination with the story of these Anastazi natives and their "sudden" dissappearance.
Over the years since I first visited Mesa Verde, historians have changed their minds about what happened.
They originally told us they had no idea why or where the population disappeared... desease, drought, war....
Today, they tell us the Anastazi left and moved south because of over-population and the scarcity of water.
Maybe, next time I visit, there will be another story...
